In Q2 2024, the performance of the top 5 music and podcast apps in Lebanon varied significantly across different metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Anghami: Play Music & Podcasts exhibited strong weekly revenue figures, starting at around $1.4K and peaking at approximately $1.7K in mid-June. Weekly downloads for Anghami fluctuated, reaching a high of 7.3K in mid-April before stabilizing around 6K towards the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users saw a rise to around 55.5K in late April but dipped to about 43.7K by the end of June.

YouTube Music also demonstrated a positive trend in weekly revenue, starting at $832 and increasing steadily to $1.1K by the end of June. Weekly downloads for the app showed a consistent upward trend, beginning at 1.6K and peaking at 2.3K in late May. The active user base for YouTube Music grew from approximately 149.4K to 187.3K over the quarter.
